Since my family is tired of me blabbing about astrology all day…. it is time to blog as an outlet for my ways of sharing this awesome tool! Astrology has helped me feel smart and purposeful. I love connecting the dots and seeing the patterns that many astrologers have done for ages.
I vow to share astrology in fun, simple, & usable ways to make it accessible for many. This is an ancient tool, but no longer just for the exclusive.
My ultimate goal is to make astrology easy to understand for everyday use, via Ashtrology.
But first, which astrology do I use?
I have had the most ah-ha moments with Western Seasonal Astrology. This branch was the first kind I was introduced to, connected with, and benefitted from. I have short-tested out Eastern as well as Sideral astrology, but nothing flows for me like Western Seasonal.
Western = where the planets are in relation with Earth in the center, aka our point of view from Earth
I go outside and see the sun setting in the west, then I turn around to see the moon rising in the east… incredible! This is Western astrology with our view point from here on Earth. When the sun sets and the moon rises (or vice versa) this is the full moon phase of the lunar cycle… more of that in another blog!
Seasonal = aka Tropical, utilizing the very applicable equinoxes and solstices as the Sun enters a cardinal zodiac sign aka the starting points of the seasons
This is a personal choice not to use the more widely known, but confusing term of Tropical astrology. Tropical means the use of the seasons in a solar year, so why not usher in a more simple word of Seasonal astrology instead. I am here to make this understandable, ya know!
Next time you see the Sun, Moon, or other bright shining orbs in the sky know that you are connecting with Western astrology. When you notice the days getting longer in the spring-time know you are aware of Seasonal astrology.
These simple observations are the start of a fulfilling life utilizing astrology.
Yippee and away we go……!
